टाइल्स् इति ताम्रधातुना प्रमुखतया निर्मितं लेखनपीठं कुर्सी-युग्मं च वर्तते। आकाराः रचनापद्धतयश्च चीनदेशीय-काष्ठकर्म-परम्पराः अनुसरन्ति, शीतल-श्यामवर्णं ताम्रं तु सरल-सुदृढाकाराणां साम्प्रतिक-लक्षणं वर्धयति। अलङ्करण-रचना अतिच्छादित-गृहच्छाद-भित्तिकाभिः (roof tiles) प्रेरिता अस्ति। कुर्सी-आकारः चीनदेशीय-मिङ्ग-शैली-हस्तासनं (Ming style armchair) निर्दिशति। श्यामवर्ण-चर्मोपधानं आसनं सुखकरं करोति। ताम्रभागाः छेदिताः, उत्कीर्णाः, नमिताः, वेल्ड्-सन्धानिताः, मार्जिताश्च सन्ति, फलक-प्रान्ताश्च धातु-नलिकया आवेष्टिताः सन्ति, या मुख्य-सम्बन्ध-रचनां निर्मान्ति। टाइल्स् इति अध्ययन-कक्षाणां बैठक-कक्षाणां च उपयुक्तं वर्तते।
