Qingdao Steel Fortress je konceptuálny showroom vytvorený v bývalej priemyselnej štvrti v čínskom meste Qingdao. Rekonštrukcia zachováva pôvodný charakter budov vrátane pôvodných červených tehál a zhrdzavených oceľových plátov. Anodizovaný hliník, novší stavebný materiál, sa spája s týmito staršími prvkami, čím prepája minulosť a súčasnosť mesta. Na prvom poschodí sa nachádza dočasná výstavná sála, kým druhé poschodie tvorí hlavnú výstavnú plochu. Otvorené schodiská vo verejnom priestore podporujú verejné aktivity. Súčasťou sú aj stravovacie a kultúrne zariadenia.
