Lu'itau o le Mamanu: We met the first design challenge at the hallway. The existed hallway was straightly open to the dining area, a relatively private area. The living room, a relatively public area, is on the left of the hallway with some height difference. And the second challenge we met was the dining area almost surrounded by aisles with no complete wall. The basement seemed not practicable to build a audio-visual hall on the existed left part as it was a too long space to make projection on the wall, and the width was not suitable either.

The living room, a relatively public area, is on the left of the hallway with some height difference. Thus, a stairway with several steps was set between the two. The left of basement seemed not practicable to build a audio-visual hall on the existed left part as it was a too long space to make projection on the wall, and the width was not suitable either.
