Banyan paviljon je enterijer prodavnice mešovite robe u istorijskom delu Fuconga, Kina, smešten pored stogodišnjeg banjan drveta. Postojeća struktura od cigle je zadržana i ojačana čelikom. Originalna fasada je otvorena kliznim vratima na preklop, što stvara bližu vezu sa ulicom. Bele police i ivica basena oko banjan drveta formiraju kompletan kružni prostor. Tlo je popločano vodopropusnim kamenom kako bi se obezbedila voda za drvo, a izdignuta teraco platforma nudi mesta za sedenje na otvorenom. Ručno tkane rotang table prekrivaju rešetkastu konstrukciju polica.

- The project is situated in a historic district Which next to a middle school and behind a century old banyan tree. This project was discussed as a new type of convenience store model influenced by e-commerce.The facade of the architecture was opened facing the block,and It was formed a complete circular public space combined with banyan trees, redefining the relationship between the inner space with banyan trees, as well as the relationship between architecture and streets.

- The brick structure was retained and reinforced with steel structure. The original facade is opened by folding sliding door which creats a closer connection with the street. The white shelf and the boundary of banyan pool form a complete circle space. The ground adopts permeable sticky stone to ensure the water for banyan trees, and the raised terrazzo platform is used in the shop to create an exterior seats. The grid of the self corresponds to the texture of the brick wall and the grid surface layer adopts the rattan board wove by hand to echo with the Ficus epidermis.

- In this project, the architect should deal with the relationship between the new and the old, the relationship between the architecture and the street, the relationship between the space and the banyan tree in the architectural transformation of the historical district.

It forms an important public space in the environment of the historical district.

- This project is not only a general store interior design, the architect use minimal interventions to solve multi-dimensional practical problems at the same time. The importance of banyan trees in this place is emphasized by combining architectural space with street and landscape to provide a place for public activities.
