Dipatlisiso: The aim of the project is to create a sofa that can be disassembled and reassembled without the aid of tools and hardware, eliminating the plastic in the packaging and that is recyclable. The Cinque sofa is available in both indoor and outdoor versions where it finds its maximum functionality: when in the winter the sofa has no reason to be used outdoors, it can easily be disassembled and put away, taking up minimal space.
Kgothaletso: In my removals, the sofa was the most difficult and complex piece of furniture to move. Remembering the Legos I had as a child, I wanted to make this object light, removable and not bulky.
Nako ya Projeke: The initial project was born in 2013 for a design competition. Exhibited at the Fuori Salone del Mobile in Milan in the same year and at the Italian Cultural Institute in Vienna on the occasion of the Design Week. It was reborn in 2021 in collaboration with a local carpentry.
