Designutmaning: The hardest part of this project is finding a way to let the coaster stay still while moving the package. After different testing, we use the paper of the box to make a foothold for the coaster.
Forskning: In the beginning, I search the element that represents Taiwan, and I found out Taiwanese Tile is starting to shine in different ways. So, I went to the Chiayi Museum of Old Taiwan Tiles to do some research about the layout and design of it. On the other hand, Contact with the Print Factory to discuss the package, we try lots of mockups, to present the user experience of opening this package. Finally, come up with this idea, cutting four plum blossom shape window to seeing a little part on the outside box, and when open can foud out four coasters and the cookie inside.
Inspiration: Tourists often buy souvenirs when they are traveling, things that are for using or for eating are the main choice. Therefore, having these two combining together might be a perfect souvenir for tourists.
