I-The Sear yingaphakathi lerestyu ekhawulezayo nekhululekileyo eAmman, eJordan, elithatha malunga neemitha ezingama-60 ezisikweyi. Uyilo luphenjelelwe yinkqubo yokutshisa umphandle (searing) esetyenziswa ekuphekeni. Ukwaleka ngentsimbi engenagwexa (stainless steel) neethayile zeseramikhi kukhethwe ngenxa yokomelela, ukumelana nobushushu kunye nococeko. Imiqondiso yokukhanya eyenziwe ngokwezifiso kunye nezikrini zedijithali zidityaniswe njengezinto zoyilo lwesakhiwo kwaye zikhokela uku-odola nokuhamba-hamba. Uyilo oluvulekileyo lugcina ikhitshi libonakala ukusuka kwindawo yokutyela. Amacandelo aqhawuka-dityaniswayo (modular) avumela ufakelo olusebenzayo, ulondolozo kunye nokuphindwa kolu yilo kwixesha elizayo.

Iimpawu Ezizodwa: The Sear is a 60 sqm fast casual restaurant in Amman. Inspired by the searing process, the space echoes an industrial kitchen using stainless steel, cold tiles, and light signage. A (smash in case of emergency) feature plays on kitchen alarms, while branding merges with design through glowing icons, screens, and a (heat drop) sign; fusing rhythm, fire, and identity into one immersive experience.
Imilinganiselo nePakishini: The restaurant occupies an area of approximately 60 sqm and is designed as a compact fast-casual space. The interior includes stainless steel cladding, ceramic tiled walls, custom light signage, and digital display screens. Lighting is based on low energy light systems. All elements were designed as modular components to allow efficient installation, maintenance, and adaptability for future expansion or replication

Ubuchwepheshe Bokuvelisa: The project was implemented using industrial grade materials inspired by professional kitchens. Stainless steel and ceramic tiles were selected for durability, heat resistance, and hygiene. custom light signage and digital screens were digitally fabricated and seamlessly integrated through concealed wiring systems. Energy efficient lighting was used as a core architectural element, highlighting branded features while ensuring efficient installation and ease of replication for future branches.
Umngeni Woyilo: The main challenge was translating the intense, fast-paced act of searing into a compact interior without overwhelming the space. Extensive research focused on professional kitchen environments, heat-driven processes, and retro food culture. The design balances industrial materials with expressive lighting and branding, ensuring a strong identity while maintaining functionality, clarity, and a comfortable customer experience
Uphando: The research is design based and experiential. Its objective was to translate the cooking process of searing into a clear spatial identity. The methodology relied on observational and visual research of professional kitchens, fast food culture, and retro technology. Data was collected through site analysis, material testing, and brand studies. The result is an interior that strengthens brand recognition, improves customer flow, and creates an engaging dining experience, impacting business value and design storytelling
Inkuthazo: The design draws from the intensity of cooking, searing, pressure, and heat. Nostalgic light tech meets industrial surfaces, reimagining a kitchen as a modern social space. A family brand is woven through the interior with custom character icons and signage. Every detail, like the seared burger logo or (heat drop) sign, translates flame, sound, and story into architecture.
Ubude Beprojekthi: This project started in November 2024 in Amman - Jordan, and it finished in April 2025
Ukuhamba Komsebenzi: The spatial layout is organized to support a clear and efficient customer journey, from ordering to seating and pick up. The open plan configuration enhances visibility between the kitchen and dining area, reinforcing interaction with the cooking process. Digital screens and light signage guide movement and ordering, while seating and circulation paths are designed to maximize comfort, speed, and operational efficiency within the compact space
