درباره When the Present Meets the Past طراحی داخلی رستوران
زمانی که حال با گذشته دیدار می‌کند یک طرح داخلی رستوران در شهر تایوان، تایوان است که در آگوست ۲۰۱۵ تکمیل شده است. این پروژه یک رستوران قدیمی محلی را در ملکی به مساحت ۱۹۸.۳۴ متر مربع بازسازی می‌کند. طراحی از سبک سوژو در چین بهره می‌گیرد و زیبایی‌شناسی چینی را در فضای غذاخوری به کار می‌برد. سقف با یک شبکه مشبک بر اساس روش‌های سنتی نجاری چینی یکپارچه شده است. درهای چوبی سنتی چینی با مشبک‌های پنجره‌ای منبت‌کاری‌شده، راهروها را از هم جدا می‌کنند و امکان استفاده‌ی چندمنظوره را فراهم می‌آورند. سطوح آینه‌ای عمق و پهنای بصری را افزایش می‌دهند و نقاشی‌های دیواری بزرگ، صحنه‌های سنتی را به تصویر می‌کشند.

- The exterior of the building retains the structure of the original building, combined with Chinese architectural features, making visitors experience as if they are instantly in the misty and rainy Jiangnan thousands of miles away. The dining area is set up with a number of large-scale murals depicting the beauty of tradition, through which the original appearance of the south is sealed.

- The ceiling is integrated with the grille of Chinese-style wood construction method, which strengthens the integrity of the space. In addition, the designer also uses mirrored media to add visual magnification, giving the space a new traditional atmosphere that integrates ancient and modern.
